#COPINGWITHCOVID − PART 4
Guard Your Heart…
As the days in isolation go by with no clear end to the pandemic in sight just yet, we know how tough it can be especially for extroverts or those whose daily incomes were directly tied to physically leaving their homes on a daily basis. Mental and emotional wellbeing are all we have to maintain peace in unprecedented times such as these. Regardless of your daily activities that took you out into the world, be they work, play or faith, all have been affected drastically. We are holding onto the words that are so timely right now.
“Guard your heart above all else for it determines the course of your life.”
Pr. 4:23 (NLT).
That verse puts things into perspective by inferring that the issues we experience as individuals though may appear external are truly from within. For Christians, this season is especially challenging as they would have been preparing for the Easter holiday. A holiday only a week away that commemorates the epi-center of the faith. We stand with you in faith and in spirit and encourage you to wear your Sunday best and praise your way through this.
To help us all get by, we recommend meditation. We have sought out a recommendation for you and it should be fun. If you have ever considered meditation, the ABIDE app is a great resource to start. They are currently offering a free 30-day trial to help thousands through this tough time. If there is any a time to learn about centered-ness, now would be the time.
Be still and stay safe.
